REP. FRANK PALLONE, JR., (D-NJ) said that he will continue "to press" to have the National Park Service send a "high ranking official from Washington" to a public forum in September to discuss the concerns he and his constituents have about the 60-year lease signed by the park service with James Wassel, for the commercial development of at least 36 buildings at historic Ft. Hancock.

THE NATIONAL PARK Service is again displaying its arrogance by answering a request by Congressman Frank Pallone that a high-ranking official from Washington, D.C. attend a public forum on the Sandy Hook development proposal with the response that the park service will instead send a "senior official" from the office of Northeast Regional Director Marie Rust's office to the forum.
